Make the colors work
Signal Red uses a small, deep red action against quiet neutral surfaces. Tomato Market brings warmer paper and a green counterpoint. The difference is not just the hex: decide whether red marks the next step, an editorial section, or a supporting illustration.
If the brand already uses red, an error needs more than another red patch. Put a specific message beside the field and add a visible symbol. A destructive action also needs clear wording and appropriate interaction design; a palette cannot supply that decision by itself.
Bright red is often more convincing in a large graphic than in small lettering. Use the measured pair below and inspect the actual surfaces. In a dark theme, consider a lighter role color while retaining the exact brand separately.
