Project / A considered starting point

Kids color palettes.

Playful website directions for learning and stories, with readable instructions and explicit interaction cues.

The collection

Original sRGB combinations. Each detail page includes website roles, CSS and measured pairs.

Make the colors work

More than a set of swatches.

Keep instructions grounded

Storybook Plum places the learning controls in plum and leaves mint to illustration. Kite Blue uses blue for a predictable next step, so a changing story image does not move the action hierarchy.

Design for the actual reader

Color choices do not establish age suitability or learning effectiveness. Test language, target size, focus and reading comfort with the intended people; keep controls usable with a keyboard.

Make progress understandable

Use words and symbols alongside completion colors. Try success, warning and correction messages in the studio without relying on a red-green distinction.
